Medical Product Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will have a variety of responsibilities, which will lead you to work at head office and on customer sites. You will have the opportunity to participate actively in all product phases in the following way:

  • Development and testing: You will test and validate the medical aspect of the software functionality. With your medical imaging expertise, you will advise the R&D department on future developments.
  • On-site installation and follow-up: You will prepare the software (and software update) user guides and the tools used to train hospital teams. You participate in the installation process for new customers on their site. You will have direct responsibility for several sites.
  • Prospecting: You will perform software demonstrations on customer sites and on a stand during scientific meetings. In the context of responding to invitations to tender, you will draft the answers to medical questions.
  • Support: You provide telephone support and on-site support.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging and/or you have experience as a medical imaging technologist and/or you have worked in a radiology department and have used medical imaging management software (PACS).
  • You are knowledgeable in the field of IT (OS, network, hardware).
  • You are meticulous and good at teaching. You are comfortable with public speaking.
  • You are flexible and you know how to respond to needs according to their urgency.
  • You are prepared to travel in Belgium and abroad to visit customers and attend conferences.
  • You are fully fluent in French and have a good level of English. Knowledge of Dutch would be an advantage.
