Telemis research
The mission of the Telemis R&D engineers is to develop state-of-the-art medical imaging technology. In order to meet today’s great challenges in healthcare, our engineers focus on four core areas:
Multimedia Although PACS stands for “Picture Archiving and Communication System”, Telemis develops powerful solutions which integrate all types of documents, from medical images (jpeg, gif, etc.) or reports (doc, pdf, txt, etc.) to video sequences (avi) or any other type of document format.
Image compression Telemis incorporates innovative lossless and lossy compression algorithms, which are configured according to customer requirements.
Security Because of the critical nature of image information and stringent privacy requirements in medical environments, the medical image database systems must provide reasonable safeguards to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of the images, before they can be properly deployed.
Integration While specializing in medical imaging software, Telemis remains an independent PACS vendor. The benefit of this is a proven integration capacity with other actors in the market (both software and equipment).
