Telemis expands in Europe.
On the first of April 2004, Telemis celebrated its 5th anniversary. In the first year Telemis focussed on the opportunity to develop its references in the Belgian market. Considering its success on the local market and the strong interest for the PACS Telemis-Medical solution during the international tradeshows (RSNA, JFR,...), the second year meant the emphasis be put on the international development of Telemis with the selection of a number of target countries. Today Telemis has about forty PACS sites installed in Europe with promising growth perspectives.
This local and international development has been possible by the conjunction of following two important factors:
- the trust of a growing number of hospitals in Belgium and abroad, in the solutions for medical image management developed by Telemis. More and more hospitals take the initiative to cross the border to visit a « filmless » hospital equipped with the PACS Telemis-Medical and the solution TM-Publisher.

- the competence and the dynamism of our local partners. In each of the target countries, Telemis formed a partnership with local companies well acquainted with the hospitals and the medical imaging world. Each partner is trained by Telemis to acquire a technical independance and to provide its customers with a very high quality service.
